Pollen grains are male germ cells of plants that produce seeds. The naturally auto-fluorescent grains were simultaneously exposed to three beams using a spinning disc confocal microscope producing three separate monochrome images. Each image was arbitrarily assigned a color before recombining, thus producing the shown picture. X60
