Trypanosome trypomastigotes among red blood cells (Trypanosoma), a parasitic flagellated protozoan that causes trypanosomiasis (African sleeping sickness, Chagas disease). This trypanosome is a vector borne parasite transmitted by Tsetse Flies (Glossina).
