Bluetongue Virus nonenveloped capsid. The genome consists of 10 segmented linear double-stranded RNA. Bluetongue Disease or Catarrhal Fever is non-contagious and affects both domestic and wild ruminants. There are no reports of human transmission. Rendering is colored by radial depth-cue to highlight surface topography. View is along the 2-fold icosahedral symmetry axis. Individual, small spheres are atoms making up the proteins.
