Details
Sebaceous cyst on a patient's back. Sebaceous glands in the skin produce sebum - a lipid required to keep the skin healthy (an excess produces oily-looking skin and hair). If one of these sebaceous glands is blocked, sebum production does not cease, and it accumulates under the blockage producing a cyst.
