Invisible fluorescent inks are used in complicated and often beautiful designs on documents, bank notes, currency, and passports as part of a host of security measures against counterfeiting and forgery. The inks are strictly controlled and the patterns and designs can only be seen under ultraviolet light. These invisible markers are on a South Africa bank note.
